Next year, the Directors Guild, The Screen Actors Guild and the Writers Guild are expected to go on strike, as all three have contract endings at the same time. To combat the loss of money that big production companies will face next year, they are pushing forth an array of films to be made before the strike happens. Today, a memo, circulating Hollywood talent agencies and offices, was leaked confirming the speculation of the push. The memo outlines every film that numerous companies are itching to make, and the films directors. Some of these include:
CELL
Directed by Eli Roth
(didn’t he say he was taking a break?)
Ghost Town
Directed by David Koepp
Magneto
Directed by David Goyer
World War Z
Director TBA
Belcoo Experiment
Directed by James Gunn
Alien Uprising
Directed by Wolfgang Peterson
And a ton of more films and information that I couldn’t possibly get into. If you’re interested to see what may be hitting theaters within the next year, click here. I must say, some of the announced films really do surprise me, but I won’t spoil it, check it for yourself.
