On Tuesday morning, the Brazilian website Hero X leaked what appears to be promotional art for AVENGERS 4. Now, before we press on, I feel it's my duty to remind you that the following image is entirely unconfirmed, and that you should be munching on a salt sandwich while viewing it. With that being said, it's worth noting that the art style and materials used to create the image are synonymous with Marvel teasers of years past. Does this mean that the art is legit? Who's to say? Be that as it may, the tease certainly does make for a worthy conversation starter for those who enjoy theorizing about the events of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.

Okay, have I stalled enough? Can we show this thing, now? Alright, this is your last chance to turn back, folks. Dropping the image bomb in 3 … 2 … 1:

There you have it! Now, let's dissect this thing. The first thing I noticed is that Captain America is seen donning a nuanced version of his classic scale armor. This is something that Cap fan have been clamoring for throughout the years, so I'd imagine they're pretty stoked, right about now. Second, check out the armor on War Machine, eh? That's some streamlined-looking duds he's got on, wouldn't you agree? Hide your wallets, parents, Avengers variant figures are coming. Next, we see Black Widow sporting her classic red hair as opposed to the frosted blonde look seen in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. As I look on, I can spy that Hulk is wearing a new purple and black bodysuit. Is Professor Hulk in the building? Captain Marvel is also included in the image. As her nova powers radiate from clenched fists, we can see her bringing up the team's back end, ready to fly higher, further and faster than ever before. Finally, I can see the heroes: Thor, Iron Man, Nebula, Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye and Ant-Man included in the party. Strange, though, I don't see the Wasp anywhere. Does this mean that she meets an unfortunate end before the close of ANT-MAN AND THE WASP? I certainly hope not. I feel like that would be a bad move on Marvel's part.

What do you think about this unconfirmed art? Do you suppose this team is one of many, or is this ensemble the only one left alive to fight the good fight in AVENGERS 4? Let us know your thoughts and theories in the comments section below.

AVENGERS 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
