Leading actor Prince David speaks out on racism claims over zombie flick The Dead

THE DEAD, an African zombie flick that came out of no where, certainly made its own waves here in the states after its premiere in Fantastic Fest. Our very own Arrow reviewed the sucker right here on AITH and was generally pleased with the show. Take a look around the interwebs and you’ll  see a lot of great buzz surrounding the flick. However, amid all of this talk there are a few pointed fingers claiming that the film has a few racist overtones to it.

One of the lead actors, Prince David Ose, speaks out about the claims of racism and other interesting events including an encounter witha  rattlesnake. Check it out in the interview below to see what he has to say.

Howard Ford, Director and Producer of THE DEAD comments on his own excitement for the film’s buzz. As the film nears its premiere in AFM, Ford anticipates great things in the coming future. “Following all the fantastic support and coverage at FrightFest, Fantastic Fest  & Sitges we should be announcing a deal shortly after the AFM screening. The synopsis:

After crashing off the coast, Lt. Brian Murphy battles for survival across the vast terrrains of Africa in search for a way to get back to his beloved family. Joined by local military man Daniel Dembele who is also searching for his son, together both men join forces all the while battling against the ever present threat of the living dead!
