Throughout the history of the STAR WARS franchise, we've seen characters struggle with which path to follow – the Light Side or the Dark Side, and it seems that Rey (Daisy Ridley) will be no different, although the latest TV spot for the upcoming STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI seems to indicate that Rey may have another option. While training with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) on Ahch-To, the young Jedi reaches out and finds herself seeing light, darkness, "and something else," the later of which seems to be calling her, prompting Luke to furiously tell her to resist it. What might it be? Well, we have less than a month to go before we find out.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Daisy Ridley said that Rey "doesn’t really know what she wants. She really is trying to do the right thing and morally, her compass is really pointing north." It's always possible that Rey could still be led astray, especially as Luke Skywalker seems to be displaying fear towards her, rather than embracing her as a student, which leaves Rey feeling cast out, exactly as Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) once felt. What do you folks think? Will STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI find Rey falling to the Dark Side?
