We're just a few short months away from the release of Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine film and it seems that every other day we're getting a small glimpse at some piece of the movie. LOGAN director James Mangold has been posting a variety of stunning black and white images from the set on both Twitter and Instagram, and the latest gives us a close look at a robotic hand belonging to one of the Reavers, a team of anti-mutant cyborgs led by Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook).
I like it; slick enough to look vaguely futuristic while still remaining worn and practical. Hopefully the Reavers will prove to be a worthy final adversary for Wolverine because, this is it; he's been with us for over fifteen years, but LOGAN will finally complete his story and, judging by that kick-ass trailer, it will be one hell of an R-rated finale. Speaking of that R-rating, James Mangold teased that LOGAN will finally give us the kind of "aggressive, classical Wolverine action that we want in the movie" and deliver a lot of visceral high-octane action. Bring it on.
LOGAN will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
