Back in January we shared the news that the sequel to Gareth Evans' ultra-badass international action hit THE RAID: REDEMPTION had began production, giving you a handful of behind-the-scenes shots to check out as the cast and crew began their 100+ day shoot. We followed up that story in April by giving you a look at another bloody still from the film, then again last month with another couple of stills. And today we have yet another new still to share with you below.
Director Gareth Evans tweeted out a new image from THE RAID 2 (subtitled 'Berandal' in some markets) last night, giving us a look at the character of 'Prakoso', and you can check it out below.
Picking up right where the first film ends, ‘The Raid 2′ follows Rama (Uwais) as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.
The film reunites writer/director Gareth Huw Evans with actor Iko Uwais, who will be reprising his starring role. Tio Pakusadewo, Putra Arifin Scheunamann, Julie Estelle, Alex Abbad, Roy Marten, Matsuda Ryuhei, Endo Kenichi, Kitamura Kazukiall all star.
