STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI doesn’t arrive for another two months, but there’s nothing that will make it seem closer than being able to buy your very first ticket for the movie. You will be able to do so very, very soon, as it was announced that tickets for the next chapter in the saga will go on sale – wait for it – tomorrow! Yes! Get your alarm clocks and debit cards ready because it’s going to be a bloodbath in the seat selection section.
A press release detailed that Fandango will make purchasing tickets for THE LAST JEDI available tomorrow night and that anyone enrolled in Fandango VIP will get an exclusive poster when they buy their tickets (while supplies last, which won’t be long). Fans will also be able to visit the FanShop to buy tons of LAST JEDI merch – including shirts, toys, and posters.
But it gets even better, friends, as a small teaser was released to announce the impending new trailer for the movie, which is apparently coming soon. Mark Hamill spilled the beans that a new trailer is dropping during a football game on October 9, which after some calculations, I determined is, in fact, tomorrow. Also using some detective work I matched that with the time the tickets are to go on sale, and according to my deductions, the trailer release should coincide with the tickets becoming available. It’s almost too convenient. Watch the teaser below!
I will be getting my ticket tomorrow much like everyone else, and in the meantime, I will be thinking about the best way to watch this movie for the first time. IMAX? IMAX 3D? A 2D showing on a massive screen with laser projection? I have so little time to think it over! I will also memorize my card number to cut down on time. The time is approaching soon, people. Best be prepared.
