Mandalay Vision has acquired the film rights to Zenescope Entertainment’s graphic novel THE PIPER. Mandalay Vision is the independent arm of Peter Guber’s Mandalay Pictures and was recently responsible for VANISHING ON 7TH STREET.
Adam Alleca (THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT) has been tapped to pen the horror/thriller adaptation, according to Variety. Madalay president Matthew Rhodes will serve as a producer.
The four issue series was created in 2007. It was written by Mike Kalvoda, Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco with artwork by Axel Medellin-Machain and Thomas Mason.
