The Last House on the Left: 2009 remake gets limited edition Blu-ray release

Five years ago, Arrow Video gave a two-disc limited edition Blu-ray release to writer/director Wes Craven’s 1972 feature debut The Last House on the Left. Now they’re set to do the same thing for the 2009 The Last House on the Left remake (watch it HERE)! The remake Blu-ray will be released in the US, UK, and Canada on August 22nd, and copies can be pre-ordered from Diabolik.

Directed by Dennis Iliadis from a screenplay by Adam Alleca and Carl Ellsworth, The Last House on the Left (2009) has the following synopsis: The night she arrives at the remote Collingwood lakehouse, Mari and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified and left for dead, Mari’s only hope is to make it back to parents John and Emma. Unfortunately, her attackers unknowingly seek shelter at the one place she could be safe. And when her family learns the horrifying story, they will make three strangers curse the day they came to “The Last House on the Left.”

The film stars Tony Goldwyn, Monica Potter, Garret Dillahunt, Aaron Paul, Spencer Treat Clark, Riki Lindhome, Martha MacIsaac, Michael Bowen, and Sara Paxton.
