Robert Rodriguez certainly brings in talent from every area of the entertainment industry, but the inclusion of Lady Gaga in MACHETE KILLS pretty much takes the cake. I am not a Lady Gaga music fan, but I like the random casting.
Rodriguez tweeted earlier today the message “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!” Apparently he was so blown away he decided to give Gaga’s character La Chameleon her own character poster.
Nice! The MACHETE KILLS cast now includes Vanessa Hudgens, sitcom queen Sofia Vergara, William Sadler, Oscar nominee Demián Bichir, Michelle Rodriguez, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Amber Heard, and Edward James Olmos.
Also in the cast is SPY KIDS star Alexa Vega who, as you can see from this picture she tweeted of herself in costume as Killjoy is all grown up. Hot damn!
