Kristin Davis & Rob Lowe on St. Elmo’s Fire, elephants & Holiday in the Wild

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Over the past few years, Netflix has become a major player in Hollywood. The company is releasing a number of exciting and original programming on top of the already impressive list of feature films available for streaming. And with the holidays coming up quickly, it’s no surprise that we’d be seeing a few flicks celebrating the season of Christmas lights, Santa Claus and elephants in Africa. Maybe that last part isn’t a staple of X-mas, but it does happen to be part of a charming little tale of two people who come together while helping protect these incredible animals. Holiday in the Wild is a romantic tale featuring Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis, and the film is currently available to check out with the entire family on Netflix.

This past Saturday, we had the wonderful opportunity to sit down and chat with both Davis and Lowe to talk about their new holiday romance. The two discussed bringing a modern and mature love story to audiences, one that perhaps will be a happy escape for fans. As well, the two opened up about their experiences with the gorgeous and powerful creatures that are an important part of this story. This was especially personal for Ms. Davis who is a Goodwill Ambassador and someone who has made it a priority to helps these astonishing animals. And of course, I can't not bring up the amazing 80's flick ST. ELMO'S FIRE with the great Rob Lowe! That sparked a bit of fun in the beginning of this incredibly enjoyable chat. Speaking to both Rob and Kristin was an immense pleasure. The two are funny, charming and just incredibly terrific to talk with.

In the mood for some impressive scenery, charming on-screen chemistry and stunning wildlife? Make sure you check out Holiday in the Wild, currently streaming on Netflix.
