For those of you who like to plan their movie-watching years in advance, listen up because Legendary Pictures and Universal have slapped a couple of release dates on their holiday horror tale KRAMPUS as well as the action thriller SPECTRAL. Both of these flicks sound pretty cool, so I guess this is exciting news.
KRAMPUS will be directed by TRICK ‘R TREAT’s Michael Dougherty and has been slated for a November 25, 2015 release. Dougherty recently said of KRAMPUS, “I’ve been drawing twisted Christmas cards for well over a decade, so it only made sense to bring some of that morbid yuletide fun to the big screen, and Krampus was the perfect mythology to do that. Christmas has been invading Halloween for far too long. It’s time to return the favor."
Next up we have Nic Matthieu's Ghostbusters-like thriller SPECTRAL, which has been pegged with an August 12, 2016 release. The plot of this one centers around a special ops group formed to bring down evil ghosts that have taken over Manhattan. It stars James Badge Dale, Emily Mortimer, Max Martini and Bruce Greenwood.
So there you have, a couple of dates for a couple of movies.
