Knocked the f*ck up

When a good R-rated comedy gets released, their PG-13 trailers never do them any justice, which is why so many people were shocked at how dirty THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN was. A couple of weeks ago I posted a link the SUPERBAD ‘red band’ trailer, which did a great job at showcasing the film’s filth factor.

The ‘red-band’ trailer for those who don’t already know, contain material that does not meet MPAA advertising standards, and are essentially R-rated trailers, and really the best way to showcase an R comedy. That is why this new red band trailer for Judd Apatow’s upcoming film KNOCKED UP has me really excited, because it reminds you what Apatow and his crew of misfits are really capable off. They make the word ‘f*ck’ funny again.

KNOCKED UP has Seth Rogen starring as an average Joe who has a one night stand with a girl who’s way out of his league (an average night for me) and then gets her pregnant (not an average night for me, but a bi-weekly occurrence). The film’s been getting unbelievable buzz so far, and will most likely be this summer’s sleeper hit. KNOCKED UP hits theaters on June 1st and you can check out the trailer HERE.
