Knives Out Twitter page is now a stan Chris Evans sweater account

After the divisive nature of THE LAST JEDI and the subsequent backlash, director Rian Johnson wanted to get as far away from George Lucas' sandbox as possible. At least until his new STAR WARS trilogy comes out. As such, Johnson wrote and directed KNIVES OUT, a modern whodunit with an all-star cast. The $40 million film is already well on it's way to a $100 million box office and is a hit with critics and audiences.

One of the stars of KNIVES OUT is Mr. Captain America himself, Chris Evans. In his first role since Steve Rogers, Evans plays Hugh Ransom Drysdale, a foul-mouthed spoiled playboy and grandson of Christopher Plummer's murdered mystery novelist Harlan Thrombey. The part is about as far removed from the clean-cut Avenger as you can get. However, apparently something is far more interesting to the person running the official KNIVES OUT Twitter page than Evans' performance – his sweaters.

In a move that proves the adage that truth is stranger than fiction, the KNIVES OUT Twitter page has taken to exclusively tweeting about Chris Evans' sweaters. The results are both funny and a little bizarre:

Not gonna lie, I laughed pretty hard at the idea of Evans' sweater having acting range. Also the sweater they are giving away is dope. I'm just picturing somebody from an ultra-conservative family wearing that thing to Christmas dinner and I can't help but smile. Honestly, I never thought I'd see the day where the Twitter account for an official Hollywood movie would turn into a stan account for one of the character's sweaters, but here we are. Although, this is the Internet after all so maybe it's not that big of a surprise.

KNIVES OUT starring Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Chris Evans, Lakeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon, and Ana de Armas is currently in theaters.
