Killer Sofa is on a rampage in trailer for New Zealand horror comedy

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

A trailer has arrived online for director Bernardo Rao's horror comedy KILLER SOFA, and this thing looks much better than I would ever expect a movie about a killer recliner to be.

Of course it looks ridiculous, but it also looks like it's going to be a lot of fun to sit through.

Starring Piimio Mei, Jordan Rivers, Jed Brophy, Sarah Munn, Stacy King, and Harley Neville, the film was originally going by the even goofier title MY LOVER, MY LAZY BOY. The synopsis:

Francesca always attracted weirdos. When one of her stalkers is found dead, she looks for comfort from her best friend, Maxi. Meanwhile, Maxi’s grandfather, Jack, a disgraced Rabbi, comes across a reclining chair containing a Dybbuk inside. Jack and his voodoo sorceress partner try to find out where the recliner has been delivered while exploring Jack’s newfound gift for communicating with the other world. Meanwhile the reclining chair becomes enchanted by Francesca and starts committing crimes of passion.

High Octane Pictures will be giving KILLER SOFA a DVD and Digital release in October, and I really want to watch this movie.
