Katherine Langford is a warrior in new trailer for Netflix’s Cursed

Earlier this month, Netflix released the first trailer for Cursed, a re-imagining of Arthurian legend which adapts the illustrated novel by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, and the new trailer reveals much more from the upcoming series, which appears to be full of blood, war, magic, and of course, an attractive young cast.

Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why) stars as Nimue, "a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther." Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler executive produce the series, with Wheeler also serving as showrunner. In addition to Langford, Cursed also stars Daniel Sharman as Weeping Monk, Sebastian Armesto as King Uther Pendragon, Matt Stokoe as Gawain, Lily Newmark as Pym, Shalom Brune-Franklin as Igraine, Emily Coates as Sister Iris, Billy Jenkins as Squirrel, Bella Dayne as Red Spear, and Peter Mullan as Father Carden.

Cursed will debut on Netflix on July 17, 2020.
