Kate Mara would be “really happy” to do a sequel to Fantastic Four

When a disaster strikes that's so massive and destructive it’s hard to rebuild. Take a look at what hurricanes and tornadoes do to cities, causing irreparable damage. Many would say that 2015’s FANTASTIC FOUR was a catastrophe on par with such natural disasters, to the point where it seems useless to rebuild.

But that still isn’t stopping the film's star, Miles Teller, coming out and saying he's still down to do a sequel to the critical and financial bomb. Now Teller isn't alone, as star Kate Mara (Sue Storm) spoke with IGN and expressed her openness to do a sequel:

The plans for the sequel were scrapped, and the flick was taken off the release schedule after the reception for the reboot was—oh, how should I put this—shit. Many are hoping Fox will transfer the rights for the movies back into Marvel’s hands so that the legendary team can get a movie worthy of their place in comic-book history. But the question isn’t a matter of should they continue with the franchise, it’s will the audience care after such a lackluster string of cinematic outings for the team? I think the studio should first set up a victim relief fund for all of those impacted by the disaster. Then, we can truly start to rebuild.
