What is Disney going to do once they've given all of their animated films the ol' live-action remake treatment? Well, I'm sure they'll own the world by then so they'll be fine. One of Disney's many, and I do mean many, upcoming live-action remakes is LADY AND THE TRAMP, based upon the 1955 animated original which told the story of an American Cocker Spaniel named Lady who fell in love with a street-wise mongrel called Tramp. Truth be told, all I really remember from that film is the scene which everyone remembers – the spaghetti scene.
Per Collider, THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME's Justin Theroux is in final negotiations to star in the upcoming live-action/animated hybrid as the voice of Tramp. Disney is still searching for the film's leading Lady, but it was recently announced that Ashley Jensen (Extras) will co-star in the film as a Scottish Terrier named Jackie, one of Lady’s closest friends. Charlie Bean (THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE) is helming the remake from a script by Andrew Bujalski, and it's expected that LADY AND THE TRAMP will debut on Disney's upcoming digital streaming service which launches next year. Justin Theroux will next be seen alongside Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon in THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME as the ex-boyfriend of Mila Kunis' character who just so happens to be a secret agent. Isn't that always the case.

Audrey (Mila Kunis) and Morgan (Kate McKinnon), two thirty-year-old best friends in Los Angeles, are thrust unexpectedly into an international conspiracy when Audrey’s ex-boyfriend shows up at their apartment with a team of deadly assassins on his trail. Surprising even themselves, the duo jump into action, on the run throughout Europe from assassins and a suspicious-but-charming British agent, as they hatch a plan to save the world.
