Justice League: New “Wonder Woman” trailer spotlights DC’s warrior princess

UPDATE: A new trailer spotlighting Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman has arrived just in time for International Women's Day. In the trailer, Diana Prince reflects on the dawn of another Age of Heroes and how soon she'll have to rise like a mighty phoenix against the forces of evil. Soon thereafter, we're shown a glorious shot of Zack Snyder's Steppenwolf in all of his armored glory. As the villain readies his first attack, Wonder Woman leaps into the air and lands the opening attack for her team. It's a glorious moment to be certain, and a fine example of how Diana is ready to defend the defenseless at any cost. Good luck, Steppenwolf. You're going to need it.

Additionally, if you want to get a gander at the new Wonder Woman poster, feast your eyes on this:

UPDATE: Looks like Zack Snyder's dropped another quick peek at his version of Justice League which (as I'm sure everyone is aware) comes out March 18th on HBO Max. Notice it includes footage of Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, whose role was famously excised from the Whedon version of the film.

In the latest teaser trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League, Superman (Henry Cavill) takes an emotional stroll through the Fortress of Solitude. As several voices competing for dominance inside his head, the Man of Steel surveys his array of super suits. After much contemplation, he decides to sport the one that fans are dying to see – his iconic black suit. With his new duds ready for their debut, he takes off like a shot, as he prepares to save the world from Darkseid and whoever else stands in the way of peace.

Originally earmarked for release on Warner Bros.'s new streaming service HBO Max, Zack Snyder has since confirmed that his cut of Justice League will simultaneously debut worldwide in all markets on VOD. Snyder went on to explain that "platform availability will depend on each territory (with the exception of China, France, and Japan, where the release dates are TBD). Additional details for specific markets will be shared soon."

For the time being, it's unclear how much it will cost to rent Zack Snyder's Justice League on VOD; if it follows the Wonder Woman 1984 model, it'll cost you a whopping $29.99. If you're outside the USA and you have access to a premium streaming service that has the rights to HBO content – for example, Crave in Canada – it's reasonable to assume that eventually Zack Snyder's Justice League will be available on those services, but not initially.

Who is in charge of this rollout? I want to speak to your manager! Quick! Someone give me a table to flip. I happen to live in Canada and know that Crave is not always a guarantee. If this is what it's like for the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, a movie that is literally everywhere at all times, what will the launch for Mortal Kombat be like next month?

Zack Snyder's Justice League is expected to feature a spoil of new footage. In fact, when Joss Whedon took over for Snyder after his exit from the project, he reportedly threw out 90% of what Zack had filmed. The nerve of him! No wonder Whedon's version was an unmitigated disaster. Anyway, Snyder will use his original footage plus $70 million worth of new shots and scenes to complete his intended vision. In other words, Snyder's version stands to be quite different from Whedon's, and fans are all about it.

Have you made plans for the big day yet? Are you taking the day off of work? Will you attend a watch party with fans? Have you purchased some Depends? That might not be a bad idea, as this will be a 4-hour excursion into the antics of DC's greatest heroes. Make sure your body is ready.

Zack Snyder's Justice League hits HBO Max and select streaming platforms beginning on March 18th. Darkseid is… ready to take your money.
