Jurassic World: Dominion footage teases dinosaurs in the snow at CinemaCon

Our own Chris Bumbray is currently at CinemaCon in Las Vegas and the Universal Pictures presentation came to a close with a quick glimpse at a little Jurassic World: Dominion footage.

The footage was mostly the behind-the-scenes variety, but we did get something that we haven’t seen in the Jurassic Park franchise before – dinosaurs in the snow! With quick shots of Owen (Chris Pratt) in a snowy environment taking off after dinosaurs, glimpses of the OG Jurassic Park team of Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill, as well as motorcycle chases, fights, and a raptor chasing Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) from rooftop to rooftop. It may not have been much, but it was pretty badass. Jurassic World: Dominion director Colin Trevorrow said that the film asks a very simple question: If dinosaurs lived among us, would we be safe?

As I mentioned above, Jurassic World: Dominion will once again star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen and Claire, respectively, but it will also feature a blast from the past with original Jurassic Park stars Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill. These won’t be mere cameos either, as director Colin Trevorrow has previously said that Jurassic World: Dominion will be a “true ensemble” film with the franchise veterans having roles on par with the Jurassic World cast.

Jurassic World: Dominion will hit theaters on June 10, 2022.
