Jurassic Park 4 unveils a new logo and is now slated for 2015

By new logo I actually mean the exact same logo as the first JURASSIC PARK but with slightly different colors.

At the 2013 Licensing Expo, studios have unveiled first looks at art for several franchises including ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS 4, FAST AND FURIOUS 7, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, NINJA TURTLES, GODZILLA, and more. While most of these are temporary pieces of art, the JURASSIC PARK 4 logo is worth investigating.

First off, the logo does not bear the number 4, which makes me wonder if there will be a subtitle added later or if the rumored rebootquel is starting the series over again. Colin Trevorrow‘s film was originally slated for 2014 but, as this poster confirms, JURASSIC PARK 4 will now bow in 2015, the same year as THE AVENGERS 2, STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, and possibly JUSTICE LEAGUE.

Coming Soon also reported that the information at the Expo regarding JURASSIC PARK 4 indicates that it will be shot in 3D rather than post-converted. Hopefully we will get more information about the film soon as shooting will probably begin sometime next year to make a Summer 2015 release.
