Anyway, E! Online reports that Joss Whedon (“Dollhouse”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, SERENITY) “is developing a documentary feature about Comic-Con that will be centered on a still-to-be-cast group of convention-going superfans.”
E! continues, saying that Whedon would be teaming up with documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (SUPER SIZE ME, WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA BIN LADEN?) and that “they want to follow people for about three months leading up to this year’s Comic-Con… and then they want to film them there. They’re looking at all types of people.”
Spurlock, no stranger to Comic-Con, was down there last year interviewing “Simpsons” geeks as part of “The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!”, which aired last month.
