Joseph Kosinski enters The Twilight Zone

OBLIVION director Joseph Kosinski (below) is reportedly the latest director in negations to helm the upcoming new take on THE TWILIGHT ZONE. We've seen plenty of different names circling the project for quite some time and at one point it even looked like LET ME IN's Matt Reeves was a sure bet until he ultimately dropped out. The new film is being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran through their Appian Way banner at Warner Bros.

Not only have directors come and gone with this project but it has also seen a number of writers attempt to crack the script for the film, including Anthony Peckham (SHERLOCK HOLMES). Right now they are redeveloping the project for Kosinski who I think is a very solid choice because he's no stranger to the sci-fi genre.

Details are slim but what we do know is that it was originally reported to focus on just one story that takes elements from Rod Serling's classic TV series as opposed to the 1983 feature that had multiple storylines. Hopefully Kosinski sticks because it would be nice to finally get this one off the ground!
