Jon Bernthal is boning up on Punisher comics for Daredevil season 2

Are you interested in knowing which Punisher comics Jon Bernthal is reading for his Frank Castle role in the second season of Netflix's Daredevil? Well, you're in luck, because Bernthal has shared a few of the comics he's researching in preparation for the part. Of course we don't know if any of the story arcs will be used in the upcoming season, but it's still interesting to see which comics the actor has been checking out for the role.

Bernthal recently hit up Hypno Comics for a 2010 issue of Punisher MAX and 1986's Punisher: Circle of Blood (which sees the violent vigilante starting a turf war after falsely claiming he killed the Kingpin), and he also tweeted a photo of himself with Garth Ennis' Punisher: War Zone – The Resurrection of Ma Gnucci. Do you think the actor is reading the right Punisher comics to get ready for the role?

Daredevil season 2 will be available on Netflix in 2016.
