John Krasinski & Emily Blunt’s Platinum Dunes thriller begins shooting

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I'm a big fan of NBC's THE OFFICE, and thus, I'm a big fan of actor John Krasinski.

As a director, I even peeped his dramedy THE HOLLARS a few years back just to see what the man could do. That and the flick co-starred Anna Kendrick. That helped matters.

Well, Krasinski is stepping back behind the camera, this time for a film that sounds like much more of my cup of blood, with the upcoming thriller A QUIET PLACE.

Which Paramount just announced began principal photography earlier today.

A QUIET PLACE co-stars Krasinski's wife, Emily Blunt, along with Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds and comes to us from those guys Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller over at Platinum Dunes (THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE).

The plot is being kept under wraps, but we do know the film is based on a spec script written by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck which was since been rewritten by Krasinski.

Are you a fan of Krasinski and/or Emily Blunt? Let us know what you think of A QUIET PLACE thus far by hitting us up in the new comments section below, or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

A QUIET PLACE hits theaters on April 6, 2018.
