What are everyone’s plans this summer? Perhaps going to the beach? Finally getting through that stack of books? Maybe you’re going to visit relatives and have a big barbeque in the summer sun. Well, whatever your plans are, they’re probably garbage compared to anyone's plans to make the pilgrimage to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which opens this week at Disneyland in California. Actor John Boyega recently stopped by there to check out the massive park, and in the process teased fans who will be there for the grand opening.

The star of the new trilogy – playing Finn in THE FORCE AWAKENS and THE LAST JEDI – stopped by Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland to get a look at the created world of Batuu before it becomes swarmed with visitors. He then posted a picture of the entire staff in their assorted uniforms, which puts into perspective how many people are working at the park and how insanely large it is.
In the caption he wrote, “Meet the amazing cast of Batuu ready to give the fans all around the world the most immersive Star Wars experience!”
He continued, “Star Wars #GalaxysEdge opens its doors in one week at @disneyland and don’t you worry i’ll be there to help guide you through one of the most insane rides! It was a pleasure to work with the team on this. Enjoy and may the force be with you.”

As for the ride he talks about guiding people through, perhaps that means he will be there for the inaugural launch of the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ride, the interactive ride that will let you blast through hyperspace. Not sure if there’s also a segment where the ship breaks down *again*, leaving one of your team to figure out what’s wrong before you’re all blasted out of the sky. No matter, because the opening of this park is a big deal for Star Wars fans and surely they will have something big planned for the grand opening, and perhaps the actor will have some hand in it.
As for the look of the park itself, we get the best sense yet of what the interior looks like now that's its not simply a pile of dirt and framework, which we've seen in past videos and pictures. Most of the park we've seen is of concept art as well, but now with this pic, we see completed walkways and structures, and it goes without it looks pretty incredible. When the park officially opens we will get the best looks ever as videos and pictures begin to surface online, and indeed, the Fear Of Missing Out will be realer than ever before.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disneyland in California on May 31 and at Disney World in Florida August 29.
