We've been keeping tabs on the cool sounding zombie flick MAGGIE for more than a year, but things really got interesting back in June when action superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger signed to to not only star in the film but also serve as producer. In July we learned that Little Miss Sunshine herself, Abigail Breslin, had joined the project as the titular character MAGGIE. Now The Wrap is reporting that "Nip/Tuck" actress Joely Richardson has signed on to the film, set to play the wife of Schwarzenegger's character in the Henry Hobson-helmed flick.
MAGGIE is about a father (Schwarzenegger) whose daughter, Maggie (Breslin), is infected by a walking-dead virus that has spread across the country.
John Scott 3 wrote the Black List screenplay for MAGGIE, which Schwarzenegger is producing alongside Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Matt Baer, Trevor Kaufman, Colin Bates and Joey Tufaro.
