Tiger King is a true-crime documentary mini-series on Netflix which centers on the small but deeply interconnected society of big cat conservationists, predominately focusing on the escalating feud between Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. That brief synopsis barely touches upon the craziness found in the seven-episode series, which has quickly become one the most-watched series in Netflix's history.
Tiger King fans will be pleased to know that Netflix will be debuting an eighth episode of the series in the form of The Tiger King and I, an after-show hosted by Joel McHale which will premiere on April 12th.
As McHale mentions, the after-show will feature brand-new interviews with John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman, and Jeff & Lauren Lowe, all names which will definitely mean more to you than me as I haven't watched the series yet. Hey, I've got to save something to watch for our next month of quarantine. In addition to this new episode, there are several Tiger King-related projects in the works, including some form of re-imagining in the works from Rob Lowe and Ryan Murphy.
