It wouldn't be a DC or Marvel film without endless speculation over which actor is playing which role. SUICIDE SQUAD, which will be the third film in DC's Extended Universe after MAN OF STEEL and BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, has more than its fair share of headlining anti-heroes and much of the past few months has been spent trying to figure out exactly which roles these actors would be stepping into.
We've got a pretty good idea who each actor is playing, but there are still a few stragglers to be accounted for; Jim Parrack (FURY) was a late addition to the SUICIDE SQUAD cast, having stepped in to replace Joe Manganiello. At the time it was rumoured that he would be playing Deathstroke but as time went on that seemed be less likely. Jeff Sneider of Meet the Movie Press claimed that Jim Parrack would instead be playing Jonny Frost, one of The Joker's goons who first appeared in "Joker," the graphic novel by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo. Seemingly confirming this report, Corina Calderon, who also has a role in SUICIDE SQUAD, name-checked Parrack's character in a recent Instagram post.
I'd completely missed it the first time around, but you can see Jim Parrack leading Jared Leto's Joker in a brief snippet of the SUICIDE SQUAD Comic-Con teaser. SUICIDE SQUAD is set for an August 5, 2016 release.
