Jillian Bell changes her life in trailer for Brittany Runs A Marathon

Amazon Studios have released a trailer for BRITTANY RUNS A MARATHON, an upcoming comedy/drama which stars Jillian Bell (22 JUMP STREET) as Brittany Forgler, an outgoing young woman living in New York whose hard-partying ways finally catch up with her. Brittany begins taking control of her life, one block at a time, by deciding to run in the New York City Marathon.

Our own Chris Bumbray caught the film when it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and came away full of praise for the comedy/drama, particularly for star Jillian Bell. "Brittany could have been a cookie cutter, rom-com style heroine, with the audience cheering her on to her eventual victory, completely with a tacked-on romance with a leading man, but it never quite happens that way here. Hilarious, outgoing and always up for a good time, New Yorker Brittany Forgler is everybody’s best friend ? except maybe her own. At 27, her hard-partying ways, chronic underemployment and toxic relationships are catching up with her, but when she stops by a new doctor’s office to try to score some Adderall, she gets slapped with a prescription she never wanted: Get healthy. Too broke for a gym and too proud to ask for help, Brit is at a loss, until her seemingly together neighbor Catherine pushes her to lace up her Converse sneakers and run one sweaty block.
