As if Ryan Murphy didn't already have enough on his plate juggling American Horror Story, Scream Queens and American Crime Story, he's set to add yet another series to his increasingly full slate with Feud: Bette and Joan. The first season of his new anthology series will deal with the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during the filming of WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? as well as after filming ended. It explores how the two endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny all while struggling to hang on to their careers. Take a look at a new trailer for the upcoming series, as well as its rather stylish opening title sequence below!
As usual, Murphy has managed to bring together quite the talented bunch to appear in his latest series. In addition to Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange, Feud: Bette and Joan also stars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis and Alfred Molina.
Feud: Bette and Joan will debut on FX on March 5, 2017 and will consist of eight-episodes.
