Jessica Henwick adds Godzilla vs. Kong to her list of major projects

Jessica Henwick is definitely a name to take note of. Within just nine years of screen acting, she has worked on some of the biggest projects in film and television. The same year she landed a role on Game of Thrones, she also appeared in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. A couple years later, she entered the Marvel universe, taking on the role of Colleen Wing and appearing on the shows Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Defenders. 

Next up on Henwick's list of major projects and impressive accomplishments: she's diving into the world of Warner Bros. and Legendary's MonsterVerse, signing on to share the screen with iconic monsters Godzilla and King Kong in the smash-up GODZILLA VS. KONG.

All plot and character details are being kept under wraps for now, but the title really tells us all we need to know. The movie is going to 

feature the two titular classic monsters squaring off in some form.

YOU'RE NEXT / THE GUEST director Adam Wingard is at the helm of the film, which is also set to star Millie Bobby Brown, Alexander Skarsgard, Julian Dennison, Rebecca Hall, Eiza Gonzalez, and Brian Tyree Henry.

GODZILLA VS. KONG is heading toward a May 22, 2020 release. Before we get there, GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS (also starring Brown) will be reaching theatres on May 31, 2019.
