When you look back at the movies which Jessica Chastain has appeared in, it's kind of amazing when you realize that she really hasn't been in the game all that long, at least in the grand scheme of things. Despite appearing in films like ZERO DARK THIRTY, INTERSTELLAR, THE MARTIAN and more, you likely didn't begin to hear her name until 2010's THE DEBT. Her latest movie, MISS SLOANE, will reunite Jessica Chastain with her DEBT director John Madden and will tackle her attempt to pass gun control legislation.
“It’s about making sure you surprise them – and they don’t surprise you.”
Boasting a great case which includes Mark Strong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sam Waterston, Alison Pill, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and John Lithgow, MISS SLOANE will follow Jessica Chastain's character, a ruthless but brilliant lobbyist, as she is approached to push through a new gun control campaign. Facing off against some of the most influential players in Washington, Elizabeth Sloane is driven by a desire to win at all costs, but in doing so, she risks those closest to her as well as jeopardizing her own career. Ruh oh.
MISS SLOANE is due to be released on December 9, 2016.
