Most of us have experienced a game night at some point in our lives. At times they're a tedious bore full of drunken arguments but other times, they can actually be quite a lot of fun. Still, I'd imagine that very few of those game nights you've experienced in the past have ended in a murderous fashion. If they have, well then, shit, you've led a more exciting life than I.
Variety reports that Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad) is currently in negotiations to join Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams in New Line Cinema's GAME NIGHT, an upcoming comedy which will follow "a group of couples who gather for their regularly planned game night when something goes murderously wrong." The flick is to be written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley (SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING) and production is slated to kick off sometime in the next few months.
Jesse Plemons will next be seen in THE DISCOVERY alongside Robert Redford, Rooney Mara and Jason Segel. The upcoming flick, which will debut on Netflix on March 31, 2017, takes place in a world set one year after the existence of the afterlife has been scientifically proven and millions of people around the world have committed suicide in order to experience it.
