Jeremy Renner has taken to his Instagram to tease to his fans that he can’t wait to show off his new Disney+ unscripted series, cheekily titled Rennervations, and that the show is due to hit once he’s able to get back out there and promote it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Renner has posted a new pic from Rennervations in which he is playing a tabletop game with an Indian family with the caption, “We are so very excited to share the #rennervations show with you all on @disneyplus coming very soon!!! As soon as I’m back on my feet, we are coming to YOU , all across the globe… I hope you’re ready !!!”
Renner has been very cryptic with the details of his accident that had rung in the new year, as the Hawkeye actor had suffered serious but unspecified injuries. This happened when he was trying to help his nephew out of the snow when he lost control of the snow plow he had driven and had gotten pulled under it. Renner had been steadily given updates on his social media of his recovery, although he never gave the full picture of the extent of his injuries and instead focused on his road back to recovery. This show is the first of his projects he announced that will be involving him when he’s back on his feet.
At the end of last December, Renner had posted a little video teaser of the show as he’s featured to be driving a truck in India that seemingly is being used to haul drinking water, and the Avenger actor excitedly honks, saying, “Here we go!” Renner would post that teaser with the caption, “There’s no better way to kick off the new year than giving back to those who need it most! Don’t miss #Rennervations, coming soon to @disneyplus.”
The accident doesn’t seem to be slowing the man down. Fans of Renner are fortunate enough to get new content from the actor as he recovers with season 2 of his Paramount+ show, Mayor of Kingstown, premiering just last month. Renner has been teasing and showing his excitement for Rennervations, and while there is no solid, locked-down date announced, he is giving fans the reassurance that his recovery should be coinciding with its premiere.
