So there I am, sitting in my office while listening to the album "Savior" by the band Soft Kill, when out of nowhere I get a notification that Marvel's Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner has a hot new single that's making the rounds online. At first, I was like, WTF? But then I remembered that this isn't the first time that Renner has crooned his way onto musical stage. Still, I was a bit taken aback, as I did not expect the Avenger's latest single, "Heaven Don't Have a Name," to slap as much as it does.
Don't believe me? Listen to the track posted below and hear the sweet sounds for yourself:
Exhibiting a little bit of Pop, a smattering of Country, and produced out the ying-yang, Renner's "Heaven Don't Have Name" soars with a creeping piano build, sultry vocals, thundering drums, and a wide-open chorus that I bet some would say is catchy AF. Granted, I don't think this song will make it onto any of my Spotify playlists, but as far as synthesized Country-like tunes go … it's not bad?
Previously, Renner lent his voice to a song by Sam Feldt called … wait for it … "Heaven Don't Have a Name." Yup, so that means that Renner's new banger is a re-tooled version of the same song that he guested on not long ago.
Obviously, the track has already received a myraid of reactions online, but what are yours? Let us know what you think of Jeremy Renner's new single in the comments section below.
