Jennifer Grey confirmed to be returning for Dirty Dancing sequel

The project is slated to be helmed by Jonathan Levine, director of 50/50, WARM BODIES, THE NIGHT BEFORE, and LONG SHOT, with Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis (FIVE FEET APART) penning the screenplay. The film was a huge success at the time, and Jon Feltheimer said that the sequel will be "exactly the kind of romantic, nostalgic movie that the franchise’s fans have been waiting for and that have made it the biggest-selling library title in the Company’s history."
