Jeff Goldblum posts a video tease for Independence Day Resurgence

In the wake of our set-visit preview of INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE (you can check out some video here), it looks like the film's biggest star has taken to social networking to throw a few tidbits our way. Thanks to Jeff Goldblum, we have one very charismatic photo and a somewhat ominous video tease for what's to come. Granted, this isn't the most revealing material, but it's exciting to see that we're FINALLY getting a sequel that's been 20 years in the making.

There's still plenty of interviews and goodies left to reveal for IDR so we'll be sure to send it your way as soon as we're given the go ahead! In the meantime, I'm hoping we see an epic teaser trailer in the vein of what the original movie did. 20 years ago, INDEPENDENCE DAY  was a a hell of a spectacle. Let's see if Roland Emmerich can pull it off again!

INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE will open in theaters on June 24, 2016.
