Jeff Goldblum confirms Independence Day return; says no Jurassic World calls

Who doesn't love seeing Jeff Goldblum do his thing onscreen? I know I do. If you're a fan of his work then we've got some good news and, sadly, some bad news for you as the star has confirmed he is set for a return in Roland Emmerich's INDEPENDENCE DAY 2, but hasn't been contacted regarding the upcoming JURASSIC WORLD.

So let's get the bad news out of the way first, shall we? The bad news is that we might not be seeing the return of Dr. Ian Malcolm in the upcoming JURASSIC WORLD, but Goldblum seems to be OK with that.

Yeah, they've talked to me about it and I've talked to them about it and they're excited and I'm anxious and eager to see — I haven't read anything — what they cook up. You know, I think they're trying to put it together.

I'm always down to see Goldblum go against some extraterrestrial baddies again. Hopefully we'll hear more on ID2 soon.
