Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI (1986) – Real Slashers

Our YouTube Age Gated Series Real Slashers covered a couple very popular ’80s slasher movies in the first two episodes, Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers and The Burning. Now with the third episode, the video series is diving into one of the biggest horror franchises of that decade, taking a look at the 1986 film Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI. You need to be at least 18 years old for YouTube to let you see episodes of Real Slashers, because slasher movies are often packed with gore and nudity, so we couldn’t shy away from those things in episodes of this show.

Written and directed by Tom McLoughlin, Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI has the following synopsis:

Years ago, Tommy Jarvis killed infamous hockey-masked murderer Jason Voorhees, and the intensity of the experience has landed him in a mental institution. To end his torment and achieve a level of closure, Tommy escapes from the hospital and heads to the graveyard where Jason is buried, intending to dig up the body and cremate it. But, before this total annihilation can occur, a freak electrical accident resurrects Jason from the dead, and the terror begins anew.

Thom Mathews, Jennifer Cooke, David Kagen, Kerry Noonan, Renee Jones, Tom Fridley, Darcy DeMoss, Vincent Guastaferro, Tony Goldwyn, Nancy McLoughlin, and Ron Palillo star, with C.J. Graham as the iconic Jason Voorhees.
