HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN director Jason Eisener is getting back into vigilantism.
He'll be sitting in the director's chair for an adaptation of the comic book NEW YORK CITY OUTLAWS, created by Robert Houszar and Ken Landgraf. The comic revolves around a group of vigilantes who band together to keep the city from falling into total chaos during a prolonged strike by the New York City Police Department.
Bryan Connolly and Zack Carlson are handling the scripting duties, and this would seem to be a project right up Eisener's alley. It's dirty… it's violent… it's everything a growing boy who wants to see some good old-fashioned R-rated action needs.
Right now Eisener is handling second unit direction for Adam Wingard's DEATH NOTE for Netflix. Then it's onto this.
