Jamie Lee Curtis posts first on-set photo from Halloween Kills

Back in 2018, Jaime Lee Curtis proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that her classic Scream Queen character, Laurie Strode, ain't nothin' to f*ck with – thanks to David Gordon Green's HALLOWEEN (2018). And now that Blumhouse and Green have recently started rolling cameras on the next film in the series, HALLOWEEN KILLS, the FIERCE CREATURES and TRUE LIES alumna is ready to show fans that she's still got what it takes to send Michael Myers straight back to Hell.

Today Jamie Lee Curtis has posted a first-look photo of herself as Laurie Strode on the set of HALLOWEEN KILLS. Alongside the photo, Curtis proclaimed, "NEVER SAY DIE," in relation to her character suiting up for another tussle with Michael Myers, the masked menace who loves to get stabby on the most glorious of holidays, Halloween.

In addition to Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode for HALLOWEEN KILLS, Judy Greer and Andi Matichak will also return as Laurie's daughter, Karen, and Laurie's granddaughter, Allyson, respectively. Meanwhile, Anthony Michael Hall is set to star as the adult version of Tommy Doyle, while Kyle Richards playing the adult Lindsey Wallace. Jibrail Nantambu is back as young Julian; with Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam; while Charles Cyphers is rumored to return as Brackett.

HALLOWEEN KILLS and HALLOWEEN ENDS are poised to be direct continuations of HALLOWEEN (2018).

Here's the official synopsis for HALLOWEEN (2018):

40 years after Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she's ready for him.

Written by David Gordon Green, Danny McBride and Scott Teems, the series is based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. HALLOWEEN KILLS will be directed by David Gordon Green with Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block producing. Acting as executive producers on the sequel are John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Ryan Freimann.

Aww yeah! Who's ready for more doomsday prepper-style Laurie Strode? I know I am. Laurie Strode was all business in Green's HALLOWEEN (2018) film, and you just know that she's ready for Michael to return for another round. Honestly, I don't know how Laurie could possibly sleep throughout the year, knowing that Michael is out there somewhere, plotting, lurking, trick 'r treating. If it were me, my ass would be living inside Fort Knox, ever ready to make some noise, should Michael come knocking at my heavily-fortified door.

HALLOWEEN KILLS will arrive in theaters on October 16, 2020.
