Jamie Foxx seen out in public for first time since “medical complication”

Word on Jamie Foxx’s recovery following his “medical complication” has been mostly positive as of late, but now fans can have a little more assurance on his condition, as the actor has stepped – well, sailed – out in public for the first time since.

Jamie Foxx took his public spotting (courtesy of TMZ) even further by posting on Twitter, “boat life? Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn Stay blessed!” Brown Sugar Bourbon is owned by Foxx, showing he’s not just ready to take the boat for a spin, but wants to keep that promotion going strong. Not only that, but TMZ also reports that Foxx was seen at a Topgolf, with a source saying, “He was walking regular, not dragging his leg. His arm movement were definitely good…He was just regular Jamie.”

The tweet is Foxx’s first one since mid-March, one month before he was taken to the hospital. While Jamie Foxx did skip out on the public spotlight he would have had at the premiere of They Cloned Tyrone last month, collaborators in attendance did assure fans he was moving in the right direction, something confirmed by his latest boat trip. With a number of projects lined up – including Back in Action, the movie he was filming during his “medical complication” – hopefully he can make it to one of the red carpet events.

Jamie Foxx himself has been hush for much of his time out of the public eye over the last few months, only posting on Instagram in May with, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed”. Such secrecy from Foxx and his family – particularly his daughter, Corinne Foxx, who seems to have been spearheading the public relations side of things – came under criticism from some, who took advantage of the silence to spread unsubstantiated rumors about the cause of his hospitalization. Jamie and Corinne Foxx are set to co-host a game show called We Are Familiy involving families and their famous relatives.

Now that Jamie Foxx has reemerged in public, what do you want to see from the actor in the future? What is your favorite Foxx performance? Let us know below!
