Filming for THE CONJURING 2 has officially kicked off, and yesterday director James Wan shared a couple of set pics from the production. Although the photos don't reveal anything about the plot of the sequel, apparently the set was blessed by a priest, and the other image features Wan hanging out on a spooky sound stage.
While confirmed story details have been scarce, THE CONJURING 2 will probably be loosely based on "The Enfield Poltergeist," the paranormal activity that was reported at a council house in Brimsdown, England from 1977 to 1979, which involved two young sisters. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be back as supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and last week we learned that Frances O’Connor (BLESSED, A.I.) will play "the mother of a girl who is experiencing a haunting and desperate for help." Do you think James Wan will be able to top the first movie with sequel?
THE CONJURING 2 will be in theaters on June 10, 2016.
Yes, we actually had a priest to bless our set on the first day of shooting Conjuring 2!!
