The producers of STRANGER THINGS and ARRIVAL have an all-new sci-fi flick coming our way this summer called KIN. The film is the feature debut of directing team Jonathan and Josh Baker and follows a recently released ex-con and his adopted younger brother who are forced to go on the run with a weapon of mysterious origin.

Synopsis:
Kin, a pulse-pounding crime thriller with a sci-fi twist, is the story of an unexpected hero destined for greatness. Chased by a vengeful criminal (James Franco), the feds and a gang of otherworldly soldiers, a recently released ex-con (Jack Reynor) and his adopted younger brother (Myles Truitt) are forced to go on the run with a weapon of mysterious origin as their only protection.
The film is directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker, based on their 2014 short film Bag Man and stars Myles Truitt, Jack Reynor, James Franco, Zoe Kravitz, and Dennis Quaid. It hits theaters August 31.
