Out of all the Marvel films, the ones starring the God of Thunder have unfortunately fallen a little short for me; that's not to say they're all bad however, the THOR film's have given us more than a few great characters who have thankfully managed to make appearances in other MCU flicks. One such character, albeit a sadly underused one, is that of Jaimie Alexander's Lady Sif.
Jaimie Alexander spoke to MTV while promoting her new show Blindspot and was asked whether or not she could confirm her appearance in THOR: RAGNAROK:
Yes.
Straight to the point, I like it. As to how much screen-time Lady Sif will have in the new film, Alexander couldn't say anything more other than to confirm that she would be in it. I'd love to see her get more of a chance to show off her skills but somehow I doubt that we'll get to see her any more than we did in the previous films; I guess she could always turn up in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. again.
After our first look at Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman, Jaimie Alexander, who was rumoured to have been up for the role herself at one point, was asked if she thought Gadot would kick ass in the role:
I'm sure she can, I mean, I know what kind of work goes into those films, you train, you work out a lot and you make sure you can do what you say you can do and I'm sure that she will kick ass; I can't wait to see it.
THOR: RAGNAROK is set to begin filming in June of next year and will be released on July 28, 2017.
