Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams, Brady Noon & More Talk Good Boys!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

When it comes to crude comedies, it doesn’t hurt to have Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky involved. Between this talented group you have SAUSAGE PARTY, SUPERBAD, BAD TEACHER and so much more, so it’s not that surprising that a hard R movie about pre-teens would eventually happen. And now we have GOOD BOYS. Starring Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams, Brady Noon, Molly Gordon and a few other familiar faces, this flick goes all out for the crude and rude. However, like those other films, this kid comedy is ultimately about friendship and growing up, and frankly it’s kinda sweet.

We spoke recently with the three good boys about their new movie, one that they’d not be able to see without a parent or guardian. Jacob, Keith and Brady opened up about taking on a style of comedy that is generally reserved for adults. They also talked about how closely they related to the characters they play. And they even speculated what the sequel would be called. As for their co-star, Molly Gordon, she opened up about playing a sort of villain in the film. She talked about the differences between a role like this, as opposed to being part of a series like Animal Kingdom. Either way, this is a talented group of actors and they are simply fantastic to chat with.

And where did all this come from? It’s not surprising that the guys behind BAD TEACHER would take on foul mouthed young ones. Both Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg were also in attendance to discuss the new film, and how they balanced the hard R humor with a little heart. They also talked about finding the right cast, actors that would be able find the balance between both. And frankly, they did a terrific job with Jacob, Keith and Brady. The GOOD BOYS are ready for trouble this weekend at a theatre near you.
