Jackass Forever Interviews: Dave England, Preston Lacy, & Ehren McGhehey

Our series of Jackass Forever interviews continues with Dave England, Preston Lacy, and Ehren McGhehey. Three more of the Jackass veterans that are still bringing it after all these years.

What I noticed from the start of the interview is that this trio, despite the whacky stuff they do in the film, is a bit more subdued of the bunch and you can tell that they come alive when they’re doing their stunts on screen. That’s not to say that they shy away from any topic, they just probably feel more comfortable when facing some kind of peril.

I tell Ehren McGhehey that I think he gets it the most in a film when just about everyone is taking a beating. I brought up the “Cup Test” with him and even he seems to have an unpleasant flashback when I bring up the pogo-stick to the nuts. We then bring up the film’s most intense scene which features him locked in a room and strapped to a chair with honey poured all over him and raw salmon stuffed down his pants and on his shirt. Soon a door opens and a giant bear comes prancing his way, ready to devour. I asked just how tense the scene was and he said it was VERY tense and that he was in the room with the bear awhile, wondering when the team would call the prank because it was getting too dangerous. Once the bear went to take a bite out of his hand, felt like the right time to call this one quits.

Dave England, the most endearing of the bunch in the film and during these interviews, recalls the day that he was tricked to dress up to talk about his favorite stunts across his Jackass career only to have it be an elaborate setup to have pig semen poured all over him Carrie-style. England admitted that he should’ve sensed something was up but for a brief moment he forgot who he was working with and who his friends were.

Preston has a setup for what appears to be a fun Dirty Dancing stunt with Wee Man only to have it turn into one big poop joke when Preston lets one go that turns into more than a fart. We both admit that poop is funny no matter how old you are and he appreciates that I got a laugh out of it.

Jackass Forever is now open in theaters everywhere!
