Our Jackass Forever interviews continue with the fearless leaders of the Jackass crew, Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine.
The duo sits together for a round of questions with me asking Knoxville first if he had any reservations about returning for a fourth film given the fact that everyone is getting a bit older. In true Knoxville fashion, he knew he wanted to go all-in on this one and had no reservations about returning, and even admitted that the other guys wanted to make a fourth film right after the release of Jackass 3D in 2010.
Director Jeff Tremaine gives us some insight about shooting during COVID and explains that the daily testing did get expensive but everyone was so determined to make it all work that they were all taking precautions to not end up testing positive.
Lastly, I ask Knoxville about the big bull hit he takes in the film that is also featured in the film’s trailers. This one really caused some injury and he reveals one injury that he believes he didn’t bring up while filming or it may have been cut out because they felt that kind of serious injury wouldn’t be funny.
Jackass Forever hits screens on February 4, 2022.
