Okay. Right off the bat. This is NOT horror news. But – to this guy who was a teenager once upon a time – it is exciting as hell news so I'm going to go ahead and share it. Today we have word that Paramount has announced JACKASS 4 will be hitting a big-screen near us in March 2021!
The MTV reality stunt-prank series created by Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, and Jeff Tremaine followed this rundown:
You've heard it a million times before, but no, seriously: Do not try this at home! Life is one big double-dog dare for the sophomoric superheroes of this cult hit, as they submit to a series of tasteless and often very painful stunts. It's relentlessly lowbrow, but some of these bits are so startling that you're bound to laugh, even if it's out of nervous shock.
Meanwhile, the latest film in the series was JACKASS 3D which followed Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Wee Man and the rest of their fearless and foolhardy friends as they take part in another round of outrageous pranks and stunts. In addition to standing in the path of a charging bull, and crashing through various objects, the guys perform in segments such as "Sweatsuit Cocktail," "Beehive Tetherball" and "Lamborghini Tooth Pull."
JACKASS 4 will go head-to-head with Sony’s MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie when it hits a theater near you on March 5, 2021.
